He completed his German Apprenticeship as a Shipping Merchant and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS). Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in dry bulk chartering and broking, having worked with several companies including Hanseatic Lloyd, HSB Hamburg Shipbrokers, E.R. Schiffahrt, Harper Petersen, F.H. Bertling, and also explored classic car restoration with Halle49. At BainBridge, he leads the Atlantic team and offices, with a focus on collaboration, operational efficiency, and expanding the company's global reach. He has worked for 2 years as a Port Captain, Auditor, and Marine Superintendent at PNC, and 2 years as Deputy Head of Operations at BainBridge Navigation. He is currently part of the Chartering team at BainBridge Navigation, handling Supramax and larger cargoes from the Mediterranean and Red Sea, mainly involving fertilizers, clinker, and cement.
